Sleeping rough, so others don’t have to – raising £30,000!

Last night, whilst you were probably sipping away on seemingly never-ending gin and tonics, interspersed by the odd twenty-strong round of jaegerbombs, I was settling down to sleep in a cardboard box on the streets of Nottingham.

It was fantastic to support Framework‘s (the Homeless & Vulnerable People Charity) Big Sleep Out event this year, with Capital East Midlands.

We were fairly lucky with the weather – it didn’t rain and it wasn’t completely freezing – which was good, as our cardboard shelter was fairly shocking!

Clearly some Dads were taking it very seriously and had spent months working on their designs, but we just turned up with boxes and tape, and then bunged them together!

In total, over £30,000 was raised to help Framework support homeless people across Nottingham, as well as raising lots of awareness of the cause!
