Hey, here’s a bit about me…

You can hear me on the radio, Monday to Friday, 4-7pm on Capital East Midlands and covering shows across the UK on the Capital Network.

I got into radio at uni. I studied Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent and did everything I could at Fly FM (the student radio station at Trent) doing the news, presenting shows, making imaging and then running the station too.

I did some shows on The Hits Radio after winning a competition to find a “future star”; then just before starting my final year at uni, and after some success at the Student Radio Awards, I joined Capital. (I did a load of work experience and internship placements at various different stations too, including BBC Radio 2, 6 Music and Gem 106.)

Having initially started on weekends, I landed the East Midlands Drive show in October 2013. I’ve since done shows on Capital London, Yorkshire, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, South Wales, and XTRA to date, at the weekends and on breakfast too.

I LOVE interviewing people – how could you not buzz off getting to sit down for a chat with someone you really respect because you’re a fan of their work!? I reckon I’ve chatted to quite a few cool people in my relatively short career so far. Becky Hill, Daniel Radcliffe, Jess Glynne, Rudimental and Years & Years are some of my favourite ones!

As well as radio, I love travelling and photography. I go to as many gigs and festivals as I can because I love discovering new music. I support Manchester United. (Yep, I’m one of those ‘annoying’ people who’s not actually from Manchester, but I don’t care – blame my glory-hunting brother. I’m pretty sure it’s his fault. (Don’t tell him I said that, please.)

So without getting too deep, and without this sounding too much like a naff dating profile, that’s me. If you want to know more then stalk me on Twitter and all the other socials. (Handy links for stalkers below.)
